High Street Studio is a photography studio rental space for photographers. It's a great way for photographers to have a professional studio space to call home without the expense and effort of maintaining an entire studio on their own. We are a membership based facility, but we allow new photographers to try it out as a guest up to 3 times per year at $40/hour. After that, they'll need to choose a membership plan to continue using the studio.

Prices are as follows
Guest Rental: $40/hour. Limit 3 guest rentals per year
Student Membership: $25 per month, unlimited free monthly photography classes (held at the studio), 1 session(credit) every 3 months, $25 each to purchase for additional credits
Pay-as-you go membership: $40 per month, includes 1 session/credit per month, $20 each for additional credits
$125 Monthly Membership: Up to 6 sessions per month, $15 each for additional credits
$200 Monthly Membership: Up to 10 sessions per month, $10 for additional credits

For the best value,Choose the membership plan that best fits with the amount of time you'll be using the studio. You don't want a plan that will have you accumulating unused credits or a plan with too few credits leaving you paying a balance at the end of the year. We evaluate plans about every year, square up balances, and re-asses plans at that time.

Member Benefits: All members get their own login to be able to book sessions for themselves using our shared calendar online. Each member also has their own door code to get into the studio, plus the wifi password and access to our private facebook group where they can communicate with the other photographers who use the studio.

How Rentals work: We use credits to manage our rentals. Each credit is for a single hour long session. There are two rooms that can each be rented, each with it's own front entrance, connected by a small interior hallway by the shared restroom. Rental includes use of props, backdrops, furniture, light modifiers, and lighting equipment.

Studio A: This is the primary shooting room, and comes with the full dressing room and 700 square feet of space including our primary prop storage area and motorized backdrop system and paper roll backdrop system. We usually have a seasonal set up in this room that is changed out based around the next major holiday or just general time of year. This room has black, white, and grey backdrops as well as 3 paper roll backdrops that rotate through various colors. Typically some variant of beige or tan, and one or two bold colors.

Studio B: This room is a little smaller and includes our waiting area, coffee bar, and mini fridge with bottled water for your guests as well as a TV for sales presentations or entertaining kids while they wait. For shooting sessions, it has a rustic brick wall, 7ft wide 3 paper roll setup, a galvanized steel wall, and green faux "living" boxwood bush wall. Studio B also includes the bobo bedroom at the back to use as a dressing room or for shooting sessions. This boho bedroom has a vintage rod iron bed, white brick wall, and elegant white/cream colored furniture. The lighting in the boho bedroom is setup with fake windows to mimic natural daylight anytime of day.

The two studio rooms A and B are connected by a small hallway and VERY small shared restroom. When shooting sessions that need privacy, we recommend you book both sides of the studio during your session time. That way you have use of the whole space without risk of running into the other photographer and their clients. With the exception of very busy times of the year, you can usually book one room and the other will likely remain empty for you to use as well. You are welcome to use both sides if nobody else is using the other room at the time that you booked.

When booking a 1-hour session, our calendar system automatically adds an extra 30 minutes of time (15 for setup and 15 for cleanup) effectively making a session 1.5 hours total. Because of this, two sessions back to back equate to a 3 hour block of time.
